I'm a native of Natchez, Miss., and graduated in 1990 with a bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi. I currently cover K-12 education for the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal in Tupelo, Miss., and am trying my hand at blogging at http://ginnymiller.wordpress.com/. I also have written for newspapers in Tallulah, La., and Vicksburg, Miss., and have worked some in public relations and marketing.
