The puzzle savvy people of the world who are sick of crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and word jumbles will be pleased to know that there is a new kind of puzzle that will help keep their minds sharp: an illustrated feature called Where in the World? Professional writer and illustrator Jan Adkins will be producing the series for the social networking site PNN.com.
"Jan creates an illustration using one of PNN's many citizen authors. Someone, somewhere in the world, who is doing something a bit out of the ordinary." says PNN.com's journalist Jaime Martinez. "He writes clues in the illustration and you try and guess where in the world they are."
Though the feature is new, there are already some juicy characters lined up for the feature. Though neither Adkins nor PNN will reveal details about upcoming puzzles, they will say that the feature will take viewers around the world, and will showcase people who defy stereotypes.
"Jan's talents made him a perfect match for the 'Where in the World' feature on PNN;" says Lauren Elliott, founder and CEO of PNN.com. "His inquisitive mind combined with wonderful drawings makes for a beautiful series for the entire family."
